Shigjeta is an Albanian publisher founded by Ancient World Outreach (now iTeams NL). At first the publisher stuck to AWO’s own publications, but it later became its own organisation. Diverse sorts of books are translated and published, with the printing work outsourced to printers in Bulgaria, Macedonia, or the Far East.

The list of books is growing every day, and includes works by Walter Trobsich, Floyd McClung, Marlene Muhr, Ajith Fernando, Corrie ten Boom, and John Stott. These cover books for young and old, for believers and non-believers, and for relaxation and (Bible) study.

Albanian is a small language, and reading is not a big part of their culture. However, these translations are essential for the transfer of information for education. Shigjeta’s funds come from the sale of the books, but needs additional funds to put new books and e-books on the market.
