David and Marleen, along with their three children, Jedidja, Jafeth and Sifra, serve in Mulanje, Malawi.

Marleen will serve as a Global Health and Tropical Medicine doctor at the Mulanje Mission Hospital, in Mulanje, southern Malawi. The hospital comes under the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP), the largest Protestant denomination in Malawi. The hospital has 230 beds and (together with a district hospital) serves a population of 550,000 people.

David initial focus will be on settling their children into life in Mulanje. David will also develop a role in community-based projects designed to serve the local church and community.

Out of compassion for people in poverty, they go to Malawi to serve and build God's kingdom there. By investing in relationships, they want to contribute to transformation, development and healing, both physically and spiritually.
