On Saturday 24 March 2018, Missie Nederland will hold their annual day for Home Front Teams (TFTs) in collaboration with Member Care Nederland and various mission organizations. During the day home front teams will be provided with a wealth of useful information.
The day is also suitable for prospective missionaries who are building a home front team, members of mission committees and other people interested in missions and missionaries. Missie Nederland expects between 100 and 150 participants for this day. The event will be held at De Gift City (next to VEZ) at Rieteweg 12 in Zwolle and starts at 10 a.m. (reception is from 9.30 am). At the beginning and at the end of the day there is a plenary session on the theme 'Resilience'. In addition, six seminars will be held both in the morning and in the afternoon so that each participant gets the chance to attend 2 seminars.
There is also an 'information market' where visitors can get information about relevant topics for and about TFTs and missionaries. There will be stands from: InToMission, Member Care Nederland, Third Culture Kids Nederland (formerly MK Focus) and companies that offer financial services and knowledge.
At noon there is an opportunity to have lunch together with representatives of the sending organization of your missionary worker. There is also an opportunity for a guided tour of the TwinkelWinkel and the Talentbureau that belong to the Gift City, an inspiring missionary project. Participation in the day costs € 27.50 (including lunch). And if there are at least three members of a home front team, each member will receive a further € 2.50 discount.
