In 1997 Pastor Gerald Mwebe and his wife, Diana, planted a church, Streams of Life, in one of the poorest areas of Kampala, Uganda. Alongside evangelisation they do social work in their local community bringing about much change in the previously violent neighborhood.
In 2017 the church started its ‘Feed my Lambs’ project. This project provides meals to around 300 children in kindergarten and primary (basis) school who are connected with the Streams of Life Church. In addition, Feed my Lambs' offers meals to students from the University of Kampala through cooperation with Nations Church in Makerere.
