In 1997 Pastor Gerald Mwebe and his wife, Diana, planted a church, Streams of Life, in one of the poorest areas of Kampala, Uganda. Alongside evangelisation they do social work in their local community bringing about much change in the previously violent neighbourhood.

In 2017 the church started its ‘Feed my Lambs’ project. This project provides meals to around 300 children in kindergarten and primary (basis) school who are connected with the Streams of Life Church. In addition, Feed my Lambs funds the school fees for children from poor families, and also the housing costs of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

iTeams NL is involved with this project and warmly supports its aims of serving and empowering the poor.
